Weston Hockey Club is opening its doors to the next generation of players with a series of free hockey taster sessions this June. Aimed at 5th and 6th class boys and girls, the programme offers three introductory evenings designed to give young people a fun, friendly and accessible first step into the sport.
The sessions will run on Fridays 5th, 12th and 19th June from 7–8pm, with all skill levels welcome — from complete beginners to those already playing in school or clubs. Coaches will provide guidance, games and plenty of encouragement to help participants discover the excitement of hockey.
Players are asked to bring shin guards and gum shields, while hockey sticks can be provided for anyone who needs one.
Parents can register or request further information by emailing westonhcj@gmail.com.
Weston Hockey Club looks forward to welcoming new faces and helping young athletes give hockey a go.
